Extra-Ordinary Women Life Coaching: Extra isn't added, it's uncovered.

Hi, I'm Anna,

I'm so glad you've found my website. Thank you for taking the time to explore. I hope to meet you soon.

There are a lot of options available for coaching, therapy, self-development. What makes me the right fit to help you? Maybe it's because I've been where you are.

For years I believed my worth came from achievement, productivity, and taking care of everyone else. And it was my own voice telling me this!

Through studying thought work, nervous system regulation, meditation, shadow work, and personal development, I began noticing the beliefs, habits, and emotional conditioning that had quietly shaped my life for decades. I discovered that nothing was wrong with me. I wasn't broken. I had simply learned ways of thinking and being that no longer served me.

Experiences that Shaped Me

Picture of Anna's family taken in January 2004 at 133rd National Guard send off.

2 months after our daughter was born my husband was notified his National Guard unit was being deployed to Iraq during the second phase of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004-05.

Jason spent 14 months "in the sand" and I spent 14 months raising 2 children under the age of 4.

Jason came home and we learned how to be a family all over again.

When Jason deployed to Iraq, I learned resilience. I also learned how easy it is to lose yourself while holding everything together for everyone else.

In March of 2020, our world, like everyone elses, was flipped upside down. Our son was a Senior in high school. He left school on March 20th and didn't go back.

Our daughter was a Junior... the first time her class was all together was marching practice for graduation.

His senior year of Lacrosse, her senior year of Cheerleading was cancelled, no proms, no senior assemblies, so many special events that we all take for granted as part of growing up, simply didn't happen.

Watching my children lose experiences they could never get back reminded me how little control we sometimes have over life's circumstances. It deepened my appreciation for resilience, perspective, and focusing on what truly matters.

Throughout the journey of marriage and motherhood, I've worked for a local construction company. I started part-time when our daughter was in kindergarten. My unofficial title was "The Lady that Does Everything Sales Sucks at."  Over the years I learned new roles, developed new skills, and eventually became Vice President and CFO despite having an Associates Degree in Engineering.

My background includes years of leadership, financial oversight, team development, coaching, thought work, nervous system regulation, breathwork, and personal transformation.

My experiences may not look exactly like yours.

But I understand what it feels like to carry expectations that no longer fit, to lose yourself beneath responsibility, and to wonder if there is more to life than simply getting through it.

That's why I do this work.

~Anna

Maybe it's Time

Maybe it's time to stop fixing yourself.

Maybe it's time to stop carrying expectations that no longer fit.

Maybe it's time to stop becoming who you think you should be.

Maybe it's time to uncover who you've always been.

Because extra isn't added.

It's uncovered.
